Social Faith: Work (or School) & Faith

The second discussion in our new Social Faith series was held this past Friday, October 24th, at the Church of the Advent.

This evening’s group made for a very intimate discussion, as Father Dale Brown led a discussion about the importance of integrating our faith into our jobs (and studies). As he quoted the author Dorothy Sayers, “No crooked table legs or ill-fitting drawers ever…came out of the carpenter’s shop at Nazareth. Nor, if they did, could anyone believe that they were made by the same hand that made Heaven and earth.”

Questions discussed included:

  • What do you like most about your work/studies?
  • What do you like least about your work/studies?
  • How do you incorporate your faith into your work/study?
  • If you could create your dream job, what would it be?
