“He has shown all you people what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
We feel we are meant to do something grand, but we usually measure that grandeur by the world’s standards and so we may come up short of our own expectations.
God has shown us what is good- what kind of accomplishments does He look for in us?
Sometimes not saying that ugly comeback that burns on our tongue is a great thing.
Maybe choosing to forgive when no one has said I’m sorry is a grand victory.
Choosing God’s opinion over the opinion of the people around us is an amazing accomplishment.
These are ways that we live justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.
How can you follow what God has called us to do in Micah 6:8?
Lord, help me to be fair and just, to be compassionate and merciful, and to walk with humility with You.
